DTKS
DTKS is an advisory, testing, checking and certifying company. The company carries out, among other things, building supervision, buyer advice, condition reports, energy labeling, pressure testing, thermography, energy and heat loss calculations, dimensional calculations, both construction and ventilation dimensioning according to tailored needs. Consultant assistance in connection with connection to alternative energy sources and other tasks that require expert construction expertise.
No task is
too big or small
The tasks are carried out within all construction phases.
From before the building permit has been granted to completion as well as for newly built and existing properties. We carry out tasks within all types of housing, detached houses, apartments, housing associations, private properties, commercial properties and public properties.
Tests, calculations or checks are carried out by highly trained, experienced and up-to-date employees within the latest methods for considering and performing calculations on the construction. We ensure optimized and approved solutions, whether it is calculations, testing or certification.
We are involved in all building phases
Before Construction
Calculations including the drawings and description of the desired construction.
Under Byggeri
Ensuring the quality of construction in accordance with drawings/section drawings cf. legally binding requirements.
Completed Construction
Delivery and defect review.
Renovation
Calculations including the drawings and advice.
Energy optimization
Energy savings in buildings including alternative energy solutions.

Building’s
Possibilities
Whether you are building something new, adding to, or renovating an existing building, there are many ways to implement green building practices even as you determine how to reduce operating costs.
To minimize (or eliminate) the negative impact, in a planned (or existing) building on the environment and the surrounding community, is the common goal of green building methods.
Greener Building Materials
When you recycle paper as insulation material with fire retardants added to paper wool, you make the paper industry greener. Recycled glass for brick facades (remember that often the same type of recycled glass cannot be bought and therefore builders are forced to replace entire facades in the event of damage to the glass brick facades = then the CO₂ load increases and what is recovered is lost). If you use straw as a raw material both as wall material and insulation, there is a green profile as it can be used afterwards as a structure improver on agricultural land. In short, the more CO₂ built into the building materials themselves and the shorter the transport route used, the greener principle is involved.
Alternative solutions
Better utilization of the direct solar energy, where the location and quantity of windows are optimized to reduce the use of artificial light. But the energy is also used to heat the building and reduce heat consumption.
Use of renewable energy for private and commercial use – for example installation of solar cells or a commercial energy storage system.
Recycling energy from areas where there is greater heat production than necessary, it can be from installations used in production.
Correct dimensioning, choice of materials and insulation, where you can work with comfort and energy optimization by storing energy which is continuously released when the temperature drops.
Energy optimization / Energy saving
Energy optimization is an optimization of the use of energy, where an estimate is given of the energy savings achieved. This means that we assess where you get the most for your investment.
Whether you want to reduce your CO2 emissions or minimize daily operations, we will find the solution that best suits your projects or wishes.
Passive Methods
With passive methods, energy consumption is limited/reduced passively. The typical methods are post-insulation and optimization of the climate screen in relation to the window areas and location. The passive measures are future-proof solutions, where consumption is generally reduced for permanent constructions. This also means that for existing buildings there are changes and interventions in existing constructions that should be evaluated.
Active Methods
With active methods, energy consumption is actively changed, to result in a lower cost overall. This can mean production of energy locally, typically in the form of solar cells, solar heating or wind turbines. Active measures are found in both large and small measures, which can be solar cells, replacement of thermostats or control of lighting. This is also where replacing the heat source from oil boiler/pellet boiler to district heating or heat pumps belongs. Active measures can lead to large financial or CO2 savings. Most often, the active methods are “extra” equipment that must be weighted in terms of lifetime and ongoing costs, therefore it is not always the solution with the maximum theoretical savings that is best in the long run. There are several factors that make it difficult to compare solutions.
